The most successful manager in Slavia contemporary era

With the 5-1 win over Bohemians, Jindřich Trpišovský became the most successful Slavia manager in the modern era of Slavia from 1990.

The Sunday victory over Bohemians was 92nd win on Slavia bench for Jindřich Trpišovský in 125th game since his arrival in December 2017. Trpišovský lost only 9 from these 125 games, 24 ended in a draw.

The 5-1 win also meant 300th point to the league table under Jindřich Trpišovský. The Red-Whites are currently 53 games unbeaten in the Czech league. In 125 league games Slavia scored 276 goals and conceded 76.

The boss led Slavia to the Champions League group stage in 2019/20 and to the Europa League quarter-finals in 2018/19 and 2020/21.

Karel Jarolím who was Slavia manager between 2005 and 2010 won 91 from their 180 league games on the bench of the Red-Whites. Jarolím also led Slavia to two consecutive league titles in 2008 and 2009 and to the very first Chamions League group stage qualification in 2007/08.

František Cipro is the third most successful Slavia manager after 1990 with 72 wins. Cipro together with Josef Pešice was on Slavia bench for the first Czech title after 49 years in 1995/96.

“It is almost unbelievable to reach those numbers in less than four years in Slavia. I want to thank the club and the players for giving us chance to compete with and get close to the biggest names of Czech and Czechoslovak football. To give us chance to overcome their achievements,” said Jindřich Trpišovský.

Congratulations, boss, and congratulations to the entire coaching team!
