Slavia bid farewell to this season’s Champions League in Paphos with a 1–4 defeat. The only goal for the side in red and white was scored late in the first half by Štěpán Chaloupek. In the second half Jan Bořil was sent off and the hosts punished Slavia twice more. Jindřich Trpišovský’s team collected three points from eight matches and finished in 34th place overall.

Slavia fell 2–4 to Barcelona at Eden in Matchday 7 of the UEFA Champions League league phase, despite producing an impressive performance. Vasil Kušej opened the scoring, and an own goal by Robert Lewandowski ensured a 2–2 halftime scoreline. Dani Olmo struck the decisive goal with an unstoppable effort, and the Red and Whites will travel to Pafos without any remaining hope of qualification.
