Taras Kacharaba stays Red-White!

Taras Kacharaba signed permanent contract with Slavia until December 2024.

After two half-year loans, Slavia signed 3-year deal with Taras Kacharaba. The contract with 26-year old Ukrainian centre-ack expires on 31 December 2024.

Kacharaba joined Slavia in January 2021 for half-year loan from Slovan Liberec with an option for permanent transfer worth 20 mil. CZK. At the end of 2020/21 season he could celebrate Czech title and win in the MOL Cup.

In the summer break Slavia decided to prolong Kacharaba’s loan for another half a year after several injuries and a departure of David Zima for FC Torino left the red-white defence depleted.

Overall Kacharaba started to 34 games in red & white during 2021. In the current season, he made 14 caps in the Czech Fortuna Liga, 5 caps in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage and 2 caps in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. In August 2021 he scored his first and only goal for Slavia in a 3-3 away game at Karviná.
