Stoch named “Player of the Season” by fans

Slovak international Miroslav Stoch was named the “Player of the Season” according to the fans’ voting. He also finished second in the “Best Foreigner of the League” category.
Slovak midfielder Miroslav Stoch joined Slavia in the summer 2017 and became one of the key figures of the entire campaign for the red & whites and fans’ favourite. In 25 league games Stoch scored 4 goals and added 3 assists. Stoch also finished second in the “Best Foreigner” category in which managers, captains and selected sports journalists vote. In the main category “Player of the Season” Stoch finished seventh.Midfielder Josef Hušbauer finished second in the main category “Player of the Season”. Hušbauer scored 3 goals and added 7 assists in 28 games of HET liga and added other goals in the UEFA Europa League (the goal against Maccabi has been voted the “Goal of the year” in the Czech Republic). Striker Stanislav Tecl who joined Slavia during winter break from FK Jablonec finished 4th.
Slavia was also awarded with the Lukáš Přibyl Award for the best cooperation with fans and journalists. The red & whites have the highest average home attendance with 12.431 fans. This is the highest number since the famous dramatic era of late 60s.
