Slavia sign Jakub Jugas to 3-year deal

PRAGUE - The first summer reinforcement is here! Slavia sign 25-year-old defender Jakub Jugas from Fastav Zlín. He signed a 3-year contract with the sewn-ones.
With Michael Lüftner leaving Slavia for FC Copenhagen the red-and-whites needed to find another reinforcement for their defensive. During 2016/17 season 25-year-old Jakub Jugas was captain of Fastav Zlín - Czech MOL Cup winner and already before the end of the season many clubs became interested of his services.

"I decided for Slavia after i had spoken to members of board and manager Šilhavý. They presented me filosophy of the club and clear plans and visions. I had had very constructive talks with the manager, he was really honest with me," Jugas said after the contract was signed.

Jakub Jugas was member of silver team from UEFA U19 EURO 2011 in Romania. He has played 171 games in Czech Premier League and scored 7 goals.
