Slavia players in national teams

PRAGUE – Czech national team manager Karel Jarolím has chosen five Slavia players for World Cup qualifiers in Azerbaijan and home against San Marino. Rotaň and Sobol will fight for FIFA World Cup in Ukrainian national team.

Czech Republic

Last two remaining games are ahead of the Czech nationals who already lost their chance to qualify for the World Cup. For the games against Azerbaijan in Baku and San Marino home in Plzeň have been nominated Jan Bořil, Jaromír Zmrhal, Tomáš Souček, Josef Hušbauer and Jan Sýkora. Slavia captain Milan Škoda was initially in the nomination but had to be replaced due to pelvis injury.

Ukraine

Midfielder Ruslan Rotaň and Defender Eduard Sobol will compete for the FIFA World Cup in Ukrainian national team. They play in Kosovo and home against Croatia. Together with Ukraine Turkey, Iceland and Croatia still have a chance to qualify.

Cameroon

Michael Ngadeu plays for Cameroon against Algeria in FIFA World Cup African qualification.

U21


Czech Republic

Daniel Trubač is part of nomination fr the Czech U21 team. The lions play their EURO qualifier in Croatia.

Slovakia

Captain of Slovakian U21 team Jakub Hromada will not miss their EURO qualifiers. The Slovaks play home two tough games against Iceland and Spain.
