Slavia back in training

PRAGUE/EDEN - Slavia is back in full training prior the 2017/18 season! Although some of the players are still missing there are also new faces in the cabin.
Slavia started their summer training on June 19. There are seven friendlies ahead, training camp in Austria and first competitive match - UEFA Champions League third qualifying round - on June 25 or 26.

Who started the training so far?

Goalkeepers: Přemysl Kovář, Martin Otáhal, Lukáš Soukup

Defenders: Jan Bořil, Michal Frydrych, Dušan Švento, Jiří Bílek, Jakub Jugas, Olivier Kingue

Midfielders: Marko Alvir, Jakub Hromada, Stanislav Tecl, Jasmin Ščuk, Josef Hušbauer, Ruslan Mingazov, Jan Sýkora, Jan Vejvar, Pavel Bucha

Forwards: Muris Mešanovič, Mick van Buren, Petar Musa


After their international duties Milan Škoda, per Egil Flo, Jaromír Zmrhal, Jiří Pavlenka and Simon Deli have one more week of holiday.

Michael Ngadeu represents Cameroon on FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.

Tomáš Souček and Jaroslav Mihalík (SVK) are in Poland for U21 EURO. Souček (during last season on loan in Slovan Liberec) returns to Slavia after the tournament, Mihalík could stay in Polish side Cracovia if the club uses the option.

There are also new faces in the cabin. Except of Jakub Jugas who came from Zlín there are three players on trial.

Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Rotan was captain of Dnipro and played 2014/15 Europa League Final with the Ukrainian side.

Petar Musa (*1998) is Croatian forward starting his career in NK Zagreb playing several games of Croatian 1st and 2nd league. In the last season he started twice for Slavia U21 team scoring one goal.

Olivier Kingue (*1996) is Cameroonian centre-back from Nkufo Academy. He has played on-loan for Belgian Standard Liege and Portugese SC Olhanense. Last season he played two games for Slavia U21 team.
