Simon Deli signed for Slavia on 15 January 2015 and started thus story of one of the best defenders of independent Czech league. In the first season Deli helped Slavia to avoid relegation fight (the club finished 11th) and with the new owner he led Slavia into one of our most successful eras. Europa League qualifiers in 2016 and later to two Czech titles (2017 and 2019) and two Czech Cup triumphs (2018 and 2019).

In 128 competitive games he scored 3 goals and added 7 assists, but what is more important, as centre-back he was awarded only 11 yellow cards, zero bookings in the last 2018/19 season (Czech League, Czech Cup and UEFA Europa League combined)!
