Player and Manager of the Month January go to Slavia

Jan Kuchta and Jindřich Trpišovský were awarded Player and Manager of the Month January in the Czech Fortuna Liga.
Slavia striker Jan Kuchta met the top form in January scoring two goals in the opening game against Olomouc, adding one more against Příbram and scoring a hat-trick away in Zlín. He topped his performances with a goal against Jablonec and with overall 7 goals and 1 assist in a single month he won the fans’ voting.
Kuchta was not the only Slavia player nominated for the award. Abdallah Sima who scored 3 goals and added 2 assists in 4 January league games appeared among 3 players to choose from.
Jindřich Trpišovský was successful among managers. Slavia wan all 4 January league games with 15 goals scored and 4 conceded. The team also qualified for the MOL Cup Round of 16 with a 4-1 won against Dukla Prague.
