Ondřej Lingr moves to Slavia

21-year old midfielder and Czech U21 international Ondřej Lingr joins Slavia from MFK Karviná on a 4-year deal.

“Moving to Slavia is something unbelievable for me. Just a while ago I was in Eden watching Slavia in Champions League game as a spectator. It is fantastic, it has always been my dream to be in a top European club. This is the best club in the country and I am looking forward to playing here,” said Ondřej Lingr after joining the team in Austria.

Since the age of ten, Ondřej Linger went through Karviná youth teams and played for U17 and U19 Czech national team before his league debut. In 2016/17 he moved to Baník Ostrava playing for the U18, after his return to Karviná he made his league debut against Sparta in May 2017.

Since 2017/18 he begun to play regularly for Karviná first team, he scored 3 goals in 3 MOL Cup games that season. In June 2019 he made his debut for Czech U21 national team. In the last season he made 29 caps for Karviná in Czech Fortuna Liga scoring 7 goals.

Winning Finish to a Golden Season. Champions Defeat Plzeň

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
