Ondřej Kolář sustained frontal sinus fracture

Ondřej Kolář has not finished the UEFA Europa League game against Rangers FC on Thursday due to an injury caused by a challenge by Kemal Roofe.

Roofe was sent off for his foul in the 61st minute of the game. Slavia won 2-0 and progressed to the quarter-finals.

Ondřej Kolář underwent another examination in the Military University Hospital in Prague after the team’s arrival to the Czech Republic. The CT scan confirmed a fracture on the left side of frontal sinus. By the arrangement with a specialist on oral and maxillofacial surgery conservative treatment will be applied in the first stage of player’s recovery. Special protective mask will be made.

Kolář is treated at home. He will not be par of the squad for the next game and will not join the Czech national team for the upcoming international games.
