New contract for Ondřej Kolář

Goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář signed new contract until 2024.

New contract with is valid until 30 June 2024. "I grew fond of Slavia and I am glad I can continue here. I believe I can still give the club a lot and we will be as successful as we were last year," said Kolář after signing new contract.

Ondřej Kolář joined Slavia from Slovan Liberec in January 2018 and quickly became goalkeeper No. 1. He started to 94 competitive games in red and white so far and managed to keep fantastic 51 clean sheets.

In Czech league Kolář reaches average of 0.6 conceded goals per game. This season he conceded only 3 goals in 18 games and reached wonderful 0.16 goals conceded per game. He also holds the second longest series without conceded goal in the Czech league with 789 minutes (8 complete games without single conceded goal). He also caught football fans’ attention in 2019/20 UEFA Champions League keeping clean sheet at Camp Nou or with his super-important penalty save in the play-off against CFR Cluj.

Freezing victory over Baník: Early Zima header secures win

Slavia defeated Baník Ostrava 1-0 in the 22nd round of the Chance Liga, maintaining their perfect spring record without conceding a goal. The match, dedicated to cancer prevention under the auspices of Fuck Cancer, was decided in the 8th minute by David Zima. A total of 18,105 spectators braved the freezing temperature of minus four degrees Celsius at Fortuna Arena.
