Miroslav Stoch awarded Czech goal of the year

Slavia players dominate the Czech Goal of the Year 2018 award. Miroslav Stoch’s stunner against Dukla got the most points.
Slovak midfielder scored two goals against Dukla during the game of 13th round in October 2018. The first one with his “weaker” left foot when he curled the ball into the top left corner from outside the box. This strike was awarded Czech Goal of the Year.Besides of Stoch another Slavia player was in final nomination. Josef Hušbauer was nominated for his solo action against MFK Karviná in July 2018 when he went around four defending players in the penalty area and fired the ball through goalkeeper with low cross-shot. Hušbauer won the competition last year with is long-range effort against Maccabi in UEFA Europa League.
Miroslav Stoch is currently best Slavia striker with 11 league goals and top league assistant with 9 assists. He also won last two rounds of “King of the Assists” competition awarded for most assists every 5 rounds of FORTUNA:LIGA.
