Mick van Buren on loan to Den Haag

Dutch forward Mick van Buren is leaving Slavia for ADO Den Haag on loan till the end of the season.
27-year old striker or winger joined Slavia more than 3 years ago in summer 2016. Since then he started in 53 league games scoring 9 goals. He also scored 4 goals in Czech cup and 1 goal in UEFA Europa League during 4-3 home win against Sevilla in March 2019.

“It is hard to leave Slavia after such a long time. On the other hand, if I will play well, I can still return. The plan is that I will return to Slavia after half a year, so it is not a final farewell,” Mick van Buren said.

In den Haag the Dutch forward will meet with another former Slavia player Tomáš Necid. “I spoke to him, we are friends. We spoke about the club and the league which I know very good anyway, as well as the city. I will be home which is good for me. It has been seven years since I played in the Netherlands and I am looking forward to playing at home. It will definitely help to improve my performance on the pitch,” van Buren added.

“The manager wished me good luck. He hoped I would play as many games as possible which is what I need the most,” the Dutch forward concluded.
