The year 2023 marks two significant Slavia anniversaries. 15 years have passed since the opening of the new Eden stadium in April 2008, and soon we will celebrate 70 years since the very first match in the old Eden in autumn 1953.

Two stadiums, one place, one home of Slavia. Wood played an important role in the construction of both stadiums. The legendary wooden stand of the old Eden built after second world war was known as as "dřevenka" (“woody”) and it was the home for the most faithful Slavia fans for almost 50 years.

This old stand was reflected in the work of architect Martin Kotík, and the ceiling made of the Canadian cedar wood enhances the unique atmosphere and acoustics of today´s Fortuna Arena.

Both wooden "dominants" are reflected in the texture of the new home and away Slavia shirts. They were revealed during the Puma Slavia Fest before the friendly game against Dynamo Dresden.
