Leaving for Fitness Training in Spain

On Sunday Slavia first team met after the winter holiday and left for fitness training camp in Marbella.
Slavia first team will spend opening 10 days of their winter break in Marbella, Southern Spain, on the same place where our players prepared for their successful European campaign last year.

Forward Milan Škoda and midfielder Josef Hušbauer are not in the squad for Marbella training camp. They both have permission to negotiate their transfers to other clubs.

Slovak midfielder Jakub Hromada will spend the spring part of 2019/20 season on loan to Slovan Liberec, Jakub Hora’s loan to Slavia has ended and the 28-year old midfielder returns to his club.

On the other hand, the first team was joined by midfielder Oscar Dorley. The 21-year old Liberian player signed his contract with Slavia half a year ago but spent the first half of the season on loan to his former club Slovan Liberec. Midfielder Jan Sýkora who spent the autumn part of the season on loan to FK Jablonec will also start winter training in Slavia.

Five players from Slavia reserves and youth teams will join the first team for winter break - João Felipe, Daniel Kosek, Jakub Křišťan, Daniel Langhammer and goalkeeper Jan Sirotník.

Two youth players from Bahrain together with two Bahraini coaches will join Slavia as part of our cooperation with Bahraini FA.

Loss in Jablonec. Two strikes for Kušej and comeback of Škoda

​Slavia suffered a late collapse in their final away match of the season, falling 2–3 to Jablonec despite a brace from Vasil Kusej. The Red-Whites led by two goals with just ten minutes to go, but the hosts struck three times late to snatch the win. The match also marked a special moment – club legend Milan Skoda made his first appearance for the A-team in over five years.

The champs take over Prague! 314. derby decided by Oscar

​The champions of the Chance Liga added another feather to their cap on Saturday night, defeating Sparta 2–1 in the 314th Prague derby. Tomas Chory opened the scoring early, and Oscar sealed the dramatic win in the 87th minute to break the deadlock. It was Slavia’s 20th consecutive home league victory, surpassing a nearly century-old club record.

​The champions of this season’s Chance Liga returned to Fortuna Arena in style. In the 2nd round of the championship group, they erased a two-goal deficit against Plzen and claimed a thrilling 4–3 win — their third victory over the West Bohemian side this season. Goals from Schranz, Zafeiris, Zima, and Holes secured the triumph in front of 18,413 fans. Slavia remain perfect at home in this league campaign!
