Joao Felipe: New signing from Palmeiras

18-year old Brazilian winger Jo?o Felipe from Palmeiras is joining Slavia.
Young Brazilian winger caught the eye of Slavia representatives during summer tournament CEE Cup in Prague where he belonged to the best players, scored two goals and added two assists. Joao Felipe Silva Estevam Aguiar was born on 24 June 2001 in Cruzeiro, Brazilia. He spent his youth career in Ituano FC in the city of Itu, Sao Paulo state. Last season he scored 5 goals in 20 competitive games. In June 2019 he moved to Palmeiras – nine-fold champions of Brazil - on loan for one year. In Slavia, Felipe joins the first team in their training but will play for Reserves in the ÈFL (3rd tier) as part of his senior-football preparation.

“I am excited of everything, it’s a dream for every boy and I am full of emotions right now. I must thank God for my chance to be in Europe,”
Joao Felipe said after signing his contract.

“The CEE Cup in Prague was very important. Even before the tournament started, our coach had told us that this could be our big chance. And I was aware of this fact a lot. Thank’s God it worked out and I got an offer,” added 18-year old midfielder.

Winning Finish to a Golden Season. Champions Defeat Plzeň

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
