Jan Kuchta re-joins Slavia

Forward Jan Kuchta returns to Slavia. Joining the club from Slovan Liberec, he signed a 4-year deal with the red and whites.

Jan Kuchta signed contract in Slavia until 30 June 2024. Slavia-raised forward returns to the club after 4 years spent on loan and last half a year on permanent transfer to Slovan.

“I am happy this transfer could happen. I want to show I can be useful for the club. I am joining the big club and I know that the competition will be big. I am aware of that and we will see, who will start the next season. The most important is that the club will go on winning and be successful,” Kuchta said after the signing.

23-year old forward was raised in Slavia youth teams. In November 2015 he played his only league game for the first team, 12 minutes home against Bohemians (2-2). More caps and more goals that season he recorded for Slavia U21, U19 and for the Czech Republic U19.

Kuchta then spent two season o loan to Bohemians Prague, in autumn 2018 he went on loan to Slovácko, in spring 2019 to Teplice. In 2019/20 he played for Slovan Liberec, his loan from the first half of the season changed into a permanent transfer in February 2020. He scored 13 league goals in his career, 6 of them in last season for Slovan.
