Imad Rondic: Young Bosnian striker signs for Slavia

PRAGUE – Slavia announced signing of another talented young player. After Slovak goalkeeper Martin Vantruba signed last week, Bosnian striker Imad Rondić will become next reinforcement for the red & whites. 18-year old striker is currently the best striker of Bosnian Junior League.
18-year old striker comes from Sarajevo and currently plays for FK Sarajevo in the Bosnian Junior league. With 16 goals and 7 assists Rondić is the best striker of his competition in current season.

Imad Rondić started his career in Olimpik Sarajevo, in 2016/2017 played for Mladost Doboj-Kakanj and from this season in FK Sarajevo. He signed the professional agreement with Slavia till 2021.

“I am glad I have signed my first professional contract with the biggest club in the Czech Republic. I have been impressed by the conditions and by the functioning of the club. I hope this will be a huge step forward in my career,” Rondić said after the meeting with Slavia management.

The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš.
