Bahraini forward Yusuf Helal joined Slavia after his loan to Bohemians during the spring season. I am looking forward to working in such a big club, says 26-year old player.
You signed a deal with Slavia already in winter, but you join the club now. How do you like your new club so far?It is a great honour to be here and I am glad for it. I must appreciate the confidence the club has in me. And I must say thanks to all people who helped me to be here. It is another great step in my career, and I am looking forward to working in such a big club as Slavia.
What is your personal goal in Slavia?
I hope I will help the club to achieve their goals. And the main is to qualify for the Champions League.
The competition on your position will be bigger here than it was in Bohemians, right?
I am aware of that. It will be different, and I know it, but should we play Champions League or Europa League, it will be 100% more difficult and I will have to work hard and fight to keep my position.
Last season was complicated for you due to injuries. Is the health all right now?
Yes. Before the Asian Cup I has an ankle injury and I could play only 20 minutes on the tournament. When I returned to the Czech Republic, I could not play for some two months and I had to recover. But then I started to play well again, and I am 100% ready now. I feel good.
