Hat-trick hero Svitková sending Ladies into the round of 16

PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Slavia Ladies have qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League round of 16. The red & white ladies defeated ZFK Minsk 4-3 in an exciting game and after the 3-1 victory in the first leg away in Minsk they won 7-4 on aggregate.
Slavia have qualified for the round of 16 for the third time in a raw. Despite being 0-1 down quickly Kateřina Svitková equalised with her first goal of the night at minute 7.

Svitková than added her second and third in the second half and accompanied by Cahynová (who scored Slavia third goal) turn the game from 1-2 to 4-2.

Minsk managed only to lower the difference with Ogbiagbevha’s effective backheel goal in the extra time.

Prague has also rewritten competition history. With Sparta Prague beating PAOK and qualifying for the round of 16 as well the Czech capital is the first city ever to have two teams in this stage of UWCL!

Slavia defeated Banik Ostrava 3-0 in the final match of the season at Fortuna Arena. The champions´ goals were scored in front of 19,322 spectators by Tomas Holy, Vasil Kusej, and David Doudera. Milan Skoda played in Eden after 5.5 years. And then? Then came celebrations worthy of champions.
