Slavia Ladies qualify for the UWCL quarter-final

Slavia Ladies drew with Swedish FC Rosengard 0-0 and qualified for the UWCL quarter-final following a 3-2 win from Sweden in the first leg.
Slavia Ladies won the 1st leg 3-2 away in Malmö and the goalless draw in Eden was enough to qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final. Slavia reached this stage for the third time in last 4 years thus confirming their stable position among top-10 clubs in Europe.

Slavia thus avenged their 6-1 aggregate loss to Roseng?rd at this stage two years ago and are the only survivors from the qualifying round. Quarter-final and semi-final of UWCL will be drawn on 9 November. 1st leg of quarter-final will be played on 20 or 21 March, 2nd leg on 27 or 28 March 2019.

In 2021 Slavia could even reach the UWCL Final on their own stadium. Eden Arena – home of Slavia – is among last two stadiums considered as a venue for this prestigious game.

First defeat of the league season in Hradec

Slavia suffered a 1–2 defeat to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the regular season of the Chance Liga. Prekop opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but the home side turned the game around thanks to a goal by van Buren and a late converted penalty by Darida. Slavia finished the match without the sent-off Mbodji and Bořil and recorded their first domestic league defeat of the season.

Goalless draw with Plzeň ends winning streak

Slavia drew 0–0 with Plzeň in the 29th round of the Chance Liga, bringing their spring winning streak to a halt at seven matches. David Jurásek came closest to scoring, Jakub Markovič delivered another excellent performance, and Tomáš Chorý was sent off late in the match. A crowd of 18,812 attended Eden.

Three points in Ostrava secured by Chorý and Provod

Slavia completed their Easter feast in Ostrava, defeating second-from-bottom Baník in the first half thanks to goals from Tomáš Chorý and Lukáš Provod. Slavia also benefited from Markovič saving a penalty, allowing them to dominate the regular season with 67 points.
