Halil returns to Germany

PRAGUE – Turkish midfielder Halil Altintop leaves Slavia and returns to Germany. He will join 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga.
Halil Altintop joined Slavia in June 2017 after playing four years for FC Augsburg. During the autumn part of the season he started in 10 competitive games scoring two goals and adding one assist. The 35-year old midfielder did not manage to secure his spot in the line-up though.Altintop will join his former club 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga. Between 2003 and 2006 Kaiserslautern was the place where he made his breakthrough into the TOP German league and scored 20 Bundesliga goals in the 2005/06 season.
