Halil returns to Germany

PRAGUE – Turkish midfielder Halil Altintop leaves Slavia and returns to Germany. He will join 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga.
Halil Altintop joined Slavia in June 2017 after playing four years for FC Augsburg. During the autumn part of the season he started in 10 competitive games scoring two goals and adding one assist. The 35-year old midfielder did not manage to secure his spot in the line-up though.

Altintop will join his former club 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2. Bundesliga. Between 2003 and 2006 Kaiserslautern was the place where he made his breakthrough into the TOP German league and scored 20 Bundesliga goals in the 2005/06 season.

Winning Finish to a Golden Season. Champions Defeat Plzeň

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
