First team training together again

After more than a month Slavia first team met in Eden for joint training in small groups.

On Monday Slavia first team started training in small groups in accord to government regulation update. Players were preparing individually at home for more than a month since the beginning of quarantine in the Czech Republic. Training sessions will take place on training ground in Eden, players will be separated into three groups made of eight people and will not enter the changing rooms or any other indoor parts of the stadium.

“It is much better now. We are used to each other and usually spend a lot of time together, I missed that. The worst part of quarantine was not seeing my teammates and it’s getting better now,” forward Stanislav Tecl said.

“The month was mentally quite demanding. You miss the team you got used to during the season. But we had to carry out our training plan because we did not know - and we still don’t know - when will the league continue. We must be ready,” centre-back Michal Frydrych added.

First team will train every day till Saturday. On Sunday players will enjoy their day off.
