FORM GUIDE: Beer Sheva v Slavia

Slavia start their Europa League journey away against Beer Sheva. Let’s compare both teams during the non-standard year 2020.

Israel top flight had - as well as the Czech league - a long spring break caused by Covid-19 and the new 2020/21 season is still on its very beginning. Slavia played 6 league games this season, Hapoel only two before both competitions have been suspended. That is why we compare both teams during the entire year 2020.

Slavia played one game less during 2020 but won 18 points more - almost one point per game more than Hapoel. Our opponents drew 8 out of their 22 games and kept only 5 clean sheets. In 7 games they conceded two or more goals. On the other hand, Slavia kept 5 clean sheets out of 8 games this season.

Beer Sheva scored 26 goals in their 22 league games which means 1.18 goals per game. Slavia scored 43 goals overall this year (2.05 goals per game).

Last season Ben Sahar and Nigel Hasselbaink scored 24 goals together for Beer Sheva. Both left the club and it seems that Josué became the most dangerous player in front. He scored one goal in Israeli Cup Final which sent Hapoel to UEL qualification and he also added three goals in three qualifiers - two against Batumi and one against both Motherwell and Plzeň.
