Europa League squad confirmed

Slavia released their squad for UEFA Europa League Group Stage consisting of 22 players.

There are 22 names (including 3 goalkeepers) on the UEL squad list for the 2020/21 Group Stage. The list could consist from up to 25 names including 4 players raised in the club, but only Jan Kuchta currently comply with these criteria.

Only few changes were made in compare to the squad list for UCl Play-off. Vladimír Coufal - who left for West Ham - was replaced by Ondřej Karafiát in the defence line. Abdallah Sima is another player who was added. 19-year old Senegali forward plays regularly for Slavia reserves and made his first team debut a week ago in the 5th round of Fortuna liga against Slovácko.

Slavia starts the UEFA Europa League away in Beer Sheva on 22 October.

Winning Finish to a Golden Season. Champions Defeat Plzeň

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
