Emotional farewell to Muris Mešanovič

Bosnian striker Muris Mešanović is leaving Slavia after 3 years. He was one of key players in successful 2016/17 season when Slavia won the Czech title. Muris now makes permanent move to Mladá Boleslav.
Slavia players and fans gave Muris Mešanović emotional farewell after the game with Slovácko in 22nd round of Czech FORTUNA:LIGA. Author of 34 goals in red-white had the chance to lead the winning chant with fans for the last time after the final whistle.

Muris Mešanović joined Slavia in January 2016 from Vysočina Jihlava and has played 93 games in red-white since. He scored 34 goals overall, 16 goals in 47 league games. In the champion’s season 2016/17 Mešanović contributed with 12 goals, mainly coming from the bench, and was awarded as Best Foreign Player of the season. He also played 6 games in Europa League and Champions League qualifiers for Slavia. In September 2017 he suffered serious knee injury in the MOL Cup game against Ústí, which eliminated him from football for almost a year.
