Eden is now real home for Slavia

PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Since April 30, 2017 Slavia can call Eden Arena their real home. Almost nine years after the construction of the stadium the club has the same owner as the Arena. CEFC Group took over the stadium after long negotiations from its previous owner and the club organized a huge party before and after the match with Jablonec. More than 15 thousand fans attended the game which ended in 1-1 draw.
The Slavia walk of fame was unveiled in front of the stadium as part of the celebration with first three stars belonging to legendary players František Plánička, Vlastimil Kopecký and František Veselý.

Managing Director of Slavia Martin Krob and Chairman of the Board Jaroslav Tvrdík then received a key from the stadium by Mingtai Wang, Member of Board of CEFC Group.

After the game many fans attended concert, meeting with players and final videomapping on the stadium wall followed by firework.

In the 17th round of the Chance Liga, Slavia defeated Slovácko 3–0 at Eden. Mojmír Chytil scored twice, and Tomáš Chorý added a ruthless finish. Igoh Ogbu returned from injury, and academy product Tomáš Jelínek made his league debut as part of the starting line-up.

Slavia drew 0–0 with Athletic Bilbao in the 5th round of the Champions League league phase. Jindřich Staněk delivered an exceptional performance, denying the Basque club four clear goal-scoring opportunities. After five matches, the Red-Whites have three points from three draws.

Slavia defeated Bohemians in front of 18,992 spectators at Fortuna Arena and continue to lead the Chance Liga table. The Vršovice derby was decided in the first half, with goals from Tomáš Chorý and Štěpán Chaloupek (the latter deflected in by Okeke). In the second half, Lukáš Provod scored a stunning strike, while Zeman pulled one back for the visitors.
