David Zima joins Slavia

19-year old defender is coming on loan till the end of this season from Sigma Olomouc.
David Zima moves from Sigma Olomouc to Slavia on loan till the end of this season with an option on a permanent transfer. “The player has permission from Sigma to begin his training with us. The contract will be finished next week,” said Michal Býček, Slavia Communication Manager.

19-year old defender who is considered one of the biggest prospects of Czech football joined Slavia for their training camp in Portugal on Saturday. Zima was raised by Sigma Olomouc and made his debut in Czech FORTUNA:LIGA last autumn. He is also member of Czech U20 national team, last year he played on EURO U19 in Armenia.

First defeat of the league season in Hradec

Slavia suffered a 1–2 defeat to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the regular season of the Chance Liga. Prekop opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but the home side turned the game around thanks to a goal by van Buren and a late converted penalty by Darida. Slavia finished the match without the sent-off Mbodji and Bořil and recorded their first domestic league defeat of the season.
