Czech FA terminated all non-professional leagues

Executive Committee of Czech FA decided to terminate 2019/20 season in all non-professional leagues in the Czech Republic.

Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR) is governing body of all football competitions in the Czech Republic except for FORTUNA:LIGA (1st tier) and FORTUNA:NÁRODNÍ LIGA (2nd tier). On 7 April 2020 its Executive Committee decided to terminate all non-professional football leagues in the Czech Republic. “Finishing of the regular season even during summer months is not possible,” says the official statement.

Current tables of all competitions will be considered final, there will be no relegations and promotions. Except for First team, all Slavia teams have thus terminated their competitions.

Slavia Women can celebrate Czech title as well as men U16 and U17. Men U19, U15 and U14 finish second, U18 finish third.

Wearing a special set of charity kits, Slavia Prague defeated Viktoria Plzeň 3–0 in the final match of the season. The champions opened the scoring with quick-fire goals from Chaloupek and Suleiman, before Chytil added a penalty before half-time. The celebrations could then begin in Eden with the “Garden Party for a Good Cause.”

Defeat in Hradec. Debutant Kohout Scores Slavia’s Only Goal

The Chance Liga champions suffered a 3–1 defeat away to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the season. The Votroci remained the only team Slavia failed to beat this season. Slavia’s only goal came late on through debutant Dan Kohout.

CHAMPIONS 23. Victory over Jablonec Secures Back-to-Back Titles

Slavia Prague defeated Jablonec 5–1 in the third round of the championship group and secured the league title. The goals that sealed the successful defence of last year’s triumph came from Štěpán Chaloupek, who scored twice, Samuel Isife, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Holeš. The visitors’ only reply came through Sobol. It is the 23rd league title in the club’s history. CONGRATULATIONS. THANK YOU!
