Against Ferencvaros or Žalgiris in the UEL 3rd Qualifying Round

Slavia will face the winner from the tie between Ferencvaros and Žalgiris Vilnius in the Champions League qualifiers.

Slavia could be drawn against three possible pairs of opponents in their group. Malmö – HJK Helsinki, Alashkert – Sheriff Tiraspol and Ferencvaros – Žalgiris Vilnius. Eventually, the better one from the third pair will be playing against the Red-Whites in the 3rd Qualifying Round.

Former Slavia goalkeeper Martin Berkovec made 34 caps for Žalgiris in 2019 and 2020. In 1938 Slavia defeated Ferencvaros in the Mitropa Cup final and won their only trophy from the predecessor of the Champions League.

Slavia will start away in Hungary or Lithuania on 3 or 4 August. The second leg will be played home at Eden a week later.

In case of the success in the 3rd qualifying round, Slavia will be among seeded teams in the Play-offs too. If the Red-Whites would be eliminated in the 3rd QR, they will play the UEFA Europa League Play-offs.
