Slavia Prague won 2–1 away at Slovan Liberec in the opening round of the championship group and could seal the league title in next week’s derby. Igoh Ogbu opened the scoring in the first half, followed by a superb free kick from David Jurásek. The hosts pulled one back after the break through Mahmić, but Slavia held on for the win.

Ticket sales for the match against Jablonec have been suspended pending the verdict of the Disciplinary Committee regarding the events that led to the abandonment of the 317th derby between Slavia and Sparta.

Slavia completed a comeback in their final match of the regular season, with Mojmír Chytil equalizing and David Moses sealing the win against Olomouc. The “Sešívaní” thus head into the championship round with an eight-point lead.

Slavia suffered a 1–2 defeat to Hradec Králové in the penultimate round of the regular season of the Chance Liga. Prekop opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but the home side turned the game around thanks to a goal by van Buren and a late converted penalty by Darida. Slavia completed their Easter feast in Ostrava, defeating second-from-bottom Baník in the first half thanks to goals from Tomáš Chorý and Lukáš Provod. Slavia also benefited from Markovič saving a penalty, allowing them to dominate the regular season with 67 points.
