Vladimír Coufal: We know what we are playing for

“If you’re not nervous, it means you don’t care much. But we do,” says Slavia right-back before the game against Plzeň.

“There could be some nervousness shortly before the game, but we will see. We all know what we are playing for and what we can achieve. I hope everyone will play on 150% and we will make it together,” Slavia right-back says.

“Those last games when you are close to the big dream use to be the most difficult. We will always be slightly nervous as we should be. If you don’t feel nervous, it means that you don’t care much. But we do. In the team we all want the same and we hope we will make it against Plzeň. But it will be hard, we know,” Coufal continues.

Slavia are looking forward to the game despite (or maybe because) its importance. “I don’t know ho Plzen will decide to play, but we will try to win to have the possibility to celebrate with our fans right after the game. We go into the game humble and with respect, Plzeň are strong opponent. Both teams will certainly stick to their style of play and we will see, what happens at the end,” Vladimír Coufal concluded.

The game between Slavia and Viktoria Plzeň starts on Wednesday, 24 June, at 8 pm. Limited capacity of Sinobo Stadium is 4,000 fans and tickets were available for season-ticket holders only. The match will be broadcasted online by O2 TV.
