Slavia lead the league table with 67 points, Viktoria follow on 2^nd place 8 points behind the red and whites. These two teams seem to be the only contenders for 2019/20 Czech title as currently third Slovan Liberec loses 22 points on Slavia and 14 points on Viktoria.

Slavia won 4 out of last 5 mutual games, the red and whites won the first game of the season 1-0 away in Plzeň thanks to Hušbauer’s goal. But Viktoria started the spring part of the season better under the new manager Adrian Guľa and the 16-point margin between the clubs shrunk to 8 points before the coronavirus break.

After the league restart both clubs won all 3 games. Slavia won away at Mladá Boleslav and Příbram and defeated Jablonec home, Viktoria defeated Sparta, Mladá Boleslav and Baník Ostrava.
