Goals: - 23. Chytil, 42. Diouf
In the 6th round of the Chance League Slavia won 2:0 in Mladá Boleslav and moved to the top of the table. Mojmír Chytil and Malick Diouf, who scored for the fourth time this season, secured the win at Lokotrans Arena. Antonín Kinský recorded his sixth league clean sheet in his seventh game this season.
Slavia players were eager to extend their excellent streak. They have beaten Boleslav in sixteen of the last seventeen league encounters, with one game ending in a draw. Jan Bořil, who joined Slavia nine years ago from Mladá Boleslav, led the team into battle with the captain's armband. Lukáš Provod, Mojmír Chytil and Tomáš Chorý were in the attack. Ondřej Lingr and Simion Michez started on the bench. The first chance was created by the home team, Ladra's grounded attempt into the middle of the goal was safely covered by Antonín Kinský, he was also successful against Kušej's pass from an angle. Slavia struck from the first chance, in the 23rd minute a centred ball by Tomáš Holeš found the head of Mojmír Chytil, who hit it exactly to the back post - 0:1. Chytil scored his first goal of the year in his eighth competitive match. The second goal was almost scored by Lukáš Provod, after a successful Zafeiris centre he missed the back post. The national midfielder also failed with his finish in the 41st minute, Trmal made a good save. Jindřich Trpišovský's side did increase their lead by half-time, as Slavia's top scorer Malick Diouf uncompromisingly cleared a deflected ball into the net - 0:2. In the four-minute setup, Tomáš Chorý aimed his header from close range just over the crossbar. At the start of the second half Provod shot over the goal, the chances were then replaced by fierce fights punished by yellow cards on both sides. Pulkrab's knocked down shot could not threaten Kinský. In the 68th minute, Chytil, the author of the first goal, finished the game and was replaced by returning Ondřej Lingr. Provod's shot was not held by Trmal, but his teammates did not allow the finish. Kinský made a good save against Kostka, but the home team did not reduce the deficit. Ondřej Zmrzlý and Conrad Wallem headed to the field for the final minutes, replacing Diouf and Douděra. Lingr missed the back post from outside the box. Zafeiris and Chorý made way for Jurásek and Chaloupek, Wallem's shot duly put Trmal through. Nothing more was offered in the 6th round of the Chance League, Slavia won 2:0 to tune up for Saturday's match against Plzeň, the first vs. third match will take place at the Fortuna Arena from 19:00.
