Slavia dominated the clash between the second and third-placed teams, defeating Sigma Olomouc 2-0 in the 4th round of the Chance Liga. The team remains unbeaten in the new league season, without conceding a single goal.
For the first time this season, Michal Tomič and Václav Jurečka started from the beginning, while Jan Bořil and Tomáš Holeš returned to the lineup. Daniel Fila, playing as a forward, marked his 100th league appearance.

Before the kickoff, a commemorative painting was presented to Lukáš Masopust, who set a new club record with his 56th European match in the midweek game against Union SG. Once again, congratulations, Maso!

Slavia created the first chance to score in the 4th minute. After a double rebound, Jan Bořil took a powerful shot, but it missed the target. VAR reviewed the play and revealed a handball by Navrátil, giving the home side a penalty. Václav Jurečka took the spot-kick, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it 1-0.

The top scorer of the last two league seasons opened his account for the current season.

In the 16th minute, Jurečka powered through the center of the pitch, but his shot was parried by the Olomouc goalkeeper. A beautiful free-kick attempt by Christos Zafeiris was denied by the left post, and in the 27th minute, Stoppen came out on top from a scramble in front of his goal. The Hanáky goalkeeper also denied Matěj Jurásek's left-footed strike in the 34th minute. In the dying moments of the first half, Jurečka fired from an angle into the side netting, after a brilliant pass from Michal Tomič.

The second half began with a header from Igoh Ogbu, which flew over the bar. Spáčil's effort on the other end didn't trouble Antonín Kinský. After an hour, Tomáš Chorý, Filip Prebsl, and Malick Diouf came on to replace Fila, Zafeiris, and Jurásek. Lukáš Provod was then substituted for Douděra.

Kinský saved a corner that was curling directly into the goal, and in the 82nd minute, Tomič was replaced by Ivan Schranz. Two minutes before the end, Malick Diouf embarked on a beautiful solo run, confusing the defenders and, with the help of a slight deflection, beat Stoppen to make it 2-0. The Senegalese versatile player scored his second goal of the season.

The match ended with Slavia securing a two-goal victory.

Jindřich Trpišovský's team will play their next match on Tuesday, facing Royale Union SG at Anderlecht stadium in the return leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. Slavia will go into the match with a 3-1 lead from the home game.
