Mladá Boleslav - Slavia
Goals: 36. Kuchta, 83. Schranz
Slavia won their third league match of this season against Mladá Boleslav 2-0 thanks to goals from Kuchta and Schranz!

The starting eleven of the Red-Whites was composed of goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář, defenders Lukáš Masopust, Ondřej Kúdela, David Zima and Oscar Dorley, midfielders Ibrahim Traoré, Nicolae Stanciu and Ondřej Lingr, wingers Ubong Ekpai and Abdallah Sima and Jan Kuchta as a lone striker.

The first shot came from Nico Stanciu, but the Romanian international sent it just wide of the left post of the goal. A few minutes later Lukáš Masopust stole the ball from Preisler and made a beautiful pass towards Jan Kuchta, who reprehensibly missed the target from a very good position.

On the other side of the pitch, Skalák could open the score, but he was stopped thanks to a great save by Ondřej Kolář. In the 15th minute, Nico Stanciu prepared a chance for Jan Kuchta, but the Red-White striker aimed directly at the hands of Šeda. The first goal of the match was scored in the 19th minute by Skalák, but after a decision made by the VAR, the goal was ruled out due to a foul made by the opposition’s winger.

On the other side of the pitch, Ondřej Lingr tried to score, but he unfortunately send the ball just over the crossbar.

A few minutes later, Slavia finally took the lead. Jan Kuchta stole the ball from the hesitating home goalkeeper and comfortably sent it to the open net. In the 45th minute, a red card was given to the home midfielder Smrž, who deliberately hit the head of Ondřej Lingr. At the end of the first half, Slavia went to the dressing room with one goal lead.

The first try in the second half was made by Nico Stanciu, whose powerful shot ended only in the hands of Šeda. Other projectiles were fired by Ubong Ekpai and Abdallah Sima in the 62nd minute, but Šeda was prepared and saved both attempts. The Red-Whites were on the ball for most of the time, but two good-looking chances of Stanislav Tecl remained unconverted. The second goal of Slavia came in the 82nd minute when Ivan Schranz scored after a beautiful long-range pass made by Nico Stanciu.

The Red-Whites maintained the two-goal lead till the final whistle and acquired another three important points to the league table. They will play their next match on 19th August in the Europa League play-offs against Legia Warsaw.
