Goals: 61. Gouiri – 15. Lingr, 64. Olayinka, 75. Sima
Slavia beat Nice in the fourth match of the Europa League and got closer to the knockout stages.

Jindřich Trpišovský had to make a few changes in his starting eleven for the match against OGC Nice. Oscar Dorley was available as he was recovering from a minor injury. Jan Bořil returned to the side after making a full recovery. Ondřej Lingr started ahead of Nicolae Stanciu and Tomáš Holeš replaced Ibrahim Traoré.

Both sides started the match actively but Slavia held the ball most of the time. The Red-whites also had the advantage of three corners in the first ten minutes, but Nice’s defenders were able to defend them.

Ondřej Lingr scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute of the match. He took the ball from his own half, ran with it forward for aproximatelly 30 metres and took a shot from outside of the penalty area. Goalkeeper Benitez did not even move as Lingr hit the top-right corner perfectly.

Nice had a huge opportunity to tie the game seven minutes after that. Scheiderlin passed the ball to the edge of the box to Maolida, who sent it into the penalty area to Claude Maurice. He was able to beat Kolář but he only hit the post.

Both sides played a very nice attacking football and we could see chances at both ends of the pitch until the end of the first half.

Nice scored the equaliser in the 60th minute. Ondřej Kolář went off his line to defend Atal, but the Algerian defender shot around him. The ball hit the post and Gouiri tapped it in to the net.

After the equaliser, Slavia started to attack more and they were rewarded with a goal in the 64th minute. Petr Ševčík was playing a corner into the box to Olayinka who headed it to the far post and sent Slavia into the lead again.

Slavia dominated the match in the next ten minutes as well and they were able to add another goal. Olayinka had the ball on the left wing and passed it to the middle to Holeš. He saw Sima waiting in the penalty area and could find him with his cross. Sima jumped higher than the defender and scored with his head from close range.

Slavia won the match 3-1 after a great performance. The Red-whites will play their next match on 29th November against Zbrojovka Brno in the FORTUNA:LIGA.
