PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Slavia secured their position among the top five teams of SYNOT liga table by winning 2-1 against Příbram in their last home game of 2015. Milan Škoda opened the score with a fine penalty shot and Karel Piták doubled the lead in the second half.

After several chances it was Slavia who took the lead in 27th minute. Michal Frydrych was fouled by Pilík inside the penalty area and captain Milan Škoda fired the penalty under the crossbar scoring his 9th in the ongoing season.

Slavia set the pace for most of the game and doubled the advantage after 67 minutes. Miljan Vukadinovič found Karel Piták inside the penalty area with a through pass and seasoned midfielder managed to fire his shot past Aleš Hruška.

In 74th minute Josef Divíšek’s successful drive from distance gave Příbram something to show for their labours, but the last word could belong to Slavia again. Milan Škoda was close to score another in the added time but missed the empty net after Jaromír Zmrhal’s perfect pass.

For the last game before a winter break Slavia travels to the north. The sewn-ones play Slovan Liberec on the 6th December.
