Goals: 7. Chorý - 35. Džeko, 85. En Nesyri
Slavia Prague suffered a 1–2 defeat against Turkish side Fenerbahçe SK in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League group stage, despite taking an early lead through Tomáš Chorý. The visitors turned the match around with goals from Edin Džeko and En Nesyri. Slavia remains on four points in the group.

Jan Bo?il captained the team, with Simion Michez operating on the right flank. Tom?? Chor? was tasked with goal production, supported by Luk?? Provod, Christos Zafeiris, and Malick Diouf.

In the sold-out Eden Stadium, Slavia created the first chance when Tom?? Hole? shot over the bar from distance. The next opportunity resulted in a goal as Tom?? Chor? netted a cross from Luk?? Provod on the left in the 7th minute, giving Slavia a 1?0 lead.

Malick Diouf?s looping cross, Bo?il?s shot, and Doud?ra?s half-volley were all safely caught by Fenerbah?e goalkeeper Dominik Livakovi?. In the 17th minute, Hole? made a spectacular sliding block to deny Edin D?eko a clear scoring opportunity. Doud?ra's header went just over the bar, while Chor??s header was saved by Livakovi?.

Around the half-hour mark, another well-placed cross from Provod found Doud?ra, whose shot narrowly missed the right post. Chor??s header shortly after also went just wide. In the 35th minute, Edin D?eko equalized with a brilliant shot into the top corner, leveling the score at 1?1. Provod's late first-half goal was disallowed for offside.

After halftime, a shot by Szyma?ski in the 53rd minute posed no threat to Slavia goalkeeper Anton?n Kinsk?. Fred?s volley from a corner went into the stands. In the 70th minute, substitute Mat?j Jur?sek dribbled into a central position but shot over the bar. Doud?ra missed a great chance after another cross from Diouf. Provod and Chor? were then substituted for Mojm?r Chytil and Ivan Schranz.

In the 82nd minute, Chytil tried to break through but could not significantly challenge Livakovi?. Three minutes later, Fenerbah?e took the lead as En Nesyri volleyed a rebound past Kinsk?, who managed to touch the ball but couldn?t prevent it from going in, making it 1?2.

In the final moments, coach Jind?ich Trpi?ovsk? brought on Pech and Fila for Zafeiris and Bo?il. A deflected shot by Jur?sek and a header by Diouf were both saved by Livakovi?. Shortly after, German referee Stegemann blew the final whistle.

Slavia fell 1?2 and remained at four points in their ongoing Europa League campaign.
