Goals: 45. Diouf, 50. Chorý
Before the international break, Slavia defeated Pardubice 2-0 at home. The 7th round of the Chance League was decided by goals from Diouf and Chorý, who scored his first goal in the domestic league for the red and whites. Jindřich Trpišovský’s team played the final half-hour with ten men after Prebsl was sent off.
The starting eleven saw two changes from the match against Lille. Filip Prebsl replaced Tomáš Holeš in defense, and Matěj Jurásek supported the attack.

Jurásek had the first chance, but former Slavia goalkeeper Stejskal made a reflex save, also denying a header from David Douděra at the back post after a cross from Malick Diouf. Tomáš Chorý hit the crossbar in the 9th minute, but the assistant referee signaled offside.

After 20 minutes, Jurásek was again denied by Stejskal, who made a good save with his right foot after a slick move. Zlatohlávek’s long-range free kick missed the target, and Jurásek’s shot after a nice move by Provod was blocked. In the 33rd minute, Diouf crossed from the left, and Chorý’s left-footed shot hit the post. Kinský tipped a stinging shot from Simon over the bar for a corner.

Stejskal responded with a superb save to keep out Chorý’s effort that was headed for the top corner. The first half was extended by five minutes, but Chorý’s shot in the box after several deflections was easily saved by the Pardubice goalkeeper. However, Slavia went into halftime with a one-goal lead, thanks to Malick Diouf’s powerful right-footed shot into the near post – 1:0. The young Senegalese player scored his third goal of the league season.

Ivan Schranz replaced Jurásek for the second half. Tomáš Chorý missed a great chance, but finally scored in the 50th minute, finishing off a header from Bořil – 2:0. The 2-meter-tall striker netted his first league goal in red and white, having already scored twice against Union SG in the Champions League qualifiers. Kinský comfortably saved efforts from Šehič and Míšek.

In the 62nd minute, Chorý made way for Mojmír Chytil, and Prebsl was sent off after a foul on Míšek just outside the box. VAR upgraded the yellow card to a red, leaving Slavia to finish the game with ten men. Kinský made two reliable saves to prevent Pardubice from reducing the deficit.

A foul on Diouf in the box was not deemed a penalty by referee Orel. In the final minutes, Ondřej Zmrzlý returned to the field after an injury, replacing Diouf. Vorlický and Chaloupek also came on, with the crowd applauding Provod and Zafeiris as they left the pitch. Chaloupek made his competitive debut for Slavia.

No more goals were scored, and Slavia defeated Pardubice 2-0 in the Fortuna Arena in front of 17,983 spectators. The league will now pause for the international break.
