In the warm-up for the start of the spring part of the FORTUNA:LIGA, Slavia defeated FC ViOn 4-1 at Eden. In a match dedicated to supporting war-torn Ukraine, Provod, Chytil, and Jurečka found the net in the first half, with Schranz adding another goal after the break.
Jindřich Trpišovský selected the starting lineup, including Ondřej Zmrzlý, one of the four winter reinforcements. David Zima and Malick Diouf were ready on the bench, while Jindřich Staňek was troubled by an injury. Defender Matúš Čonka and current ViOn coach Michal Hipp, who played for Slavia thirty years ago, returned to Eden.

Players from both teams took to the field in yellow jerseys with the inscription "We Stand With Ukraine," posing together with a banner displaying the same declaration.

The guests had the first chance of the duel; in the 4th minute, Tabatadze got a shot from an angle, but Aleš Mandous intervened superbly, deflecting the shot for a corner. Mojmír Chytil shot over the bar after a pass from Václav Jurečka, and Duga did the same on the other side. After fifteen minutes, Jan Bořil dangerously headed David Douděra's cross, but lacked precision.

Lukač thwarted Jurečka's attempt, and Slavia scored from the subsequent corner. Lukáš Provod's deflected shot found the bottom right corner in the 20th minute - 1-0.

Three minutes later, the net behind Lukač rippled again. In a chaotic situation, Jan Bořil celebrated the most, and Mojmír Chytil was credited as the goal scorer - 2-0. In the 27th minute, Václav Jurečka converted Chytil's beautiful individual action into the third goal. The Moravians' goalkeeper was helpless against his right-footed strike - 3-0.

Further chances followed; Provod, Jurečka, and Bořil tried their luck from interesting positions, but the halftime score remained 3-0. The second half started with a half-volley from Václav Jurečka, missing by a few centimeters. In the 58th minute, Slavia completely revamped their lineup except for Zmrzlý. Zima, Tijani, Tecl, Zafeiris, Van Buren, Schranz, Vlček, Tomič, and Jurásek took the field. Lukač saved Zmrzlý's curling shot in the 63rd minute, pushing it for a corner, and a few minutes later, Olomouc's January import made way for El Hadji Malick Diouf.

In the 72nd minute, Van Buren missed a long dribble into a goal, and the ball rolled out of bounds. Moments later, Ivan Schranz increased the lead to 4-0 after a solo run, assisted by Stanislav Tecl's precise pass. Ten minutes before the end, Moravce pulled one back; Kuzma scored with a cross-shot into the top corner - 4-1. Van Buren had a huge opportunity but failed to beat Lukač face to face for the second time. The 6214 spectators at Eden then applauded Tomič's long-range attempt.

The final score of 4-1 concluded the last preparatory match. Slavia will open the spring part of the season on Sunday, February 11, at the Fortuna Arena against Jablonec.
