Christos Zafeiris was the match-winner when he scored late in the second half after Schranz and van Buren managed to erase the two-goal lead of the home side.
Only one change was made in the starting XI compared to the UEL game against Sheriff – Provod replaced Dumitrescu in midfield.

Liberec took two-goal lead early in the opening half with Kulenović deflecting a shot by Ghali in the 5th minute and Preisler scoring a close-range header with 9 minutes on the clock.

Slavia started to show signs of coming back into the game after the second Liberec goal and managed t score after 16 minutes when Chytil passed the ball to Schranz who sent his effort on the far post.

The Red-Whites raised into the game in the second half. 8 minutes after the break Mick van Buren equalized from the spot after Preisler’s hand inside of the box and with just 3 minutes left Christos Zafeiris sent the ball through Bačkovský after a nice pass by Jurásek.

It was 50th start for Slavia for Matěj Jurásek who came from the bench in course of the second half.

Next game will be played at Fortuna Arena on 21 October against Slovácko. The game starts at 6 pm.
