Slavia defeated Karviná 5-1 at home to record the biggest win of 2023/24 season despite an early opener by the guests.

First start for Aleš Mandous in goal in the 2023/24 season.

Akinyemi gave Karviná lead 6 minutes into the game.

Tijani equalized into an empty net after a big howler by Karviná goalkeeper.

Jurásek then scored after Bořil's pass and Jurečka scored his first league goal this season from a penalty kick before the half-time.

Slavia scored two more goals in the second half. Chytil added fourth just two minutes after coming on the pitch and Wallem added the cream on top with his Panenka penalty late in the game.

After an international break Slavia travel to Pardubice (16 September) before returning home for the Prague Derby (24 September).

Slavia suffered a late collapse in their final away match of the season, falling 2–3 to Jablonec despite a brace from Vasil Kusej. The Red-Whites led by two goals with just ten minutes to go, but the hosts struck three times late to snatch the win. The match also marked a special moment – club legend Milan Skoda made his first appearance for the A-team in over five years.

The champions of the Chance Liga added another feather to their cap on Saturday night, defeating Sparta 2–1 in the 314th Prague derby. Tomas Chory opened the scoring early, and Oscar sealed the dramatic win in the 87th minute to break the deadlock. It was Slavia’s 20th consecutive home league victory, surpassing a nearly century-old club record.

The champions of this season’s Chance Liga returned to Fortuna Arena in style. In the 2nd round of the championship group, they erased a two-goal deficit against Plzen and claimed a thrilling 4–3 win — their third victory over the West Bohemian side this season. Goals from Schranz, Zafeiris, Zima, and Holes secured the triumph in front of 18,413 fans. Slavia remain perfect at home in this league campaign!
