After defeats in ostrava and St. Petersburg Slavia are back on winning streak with 4-1 victory over 1.FK Příbram. Bořil, Baluta and Frydrych scored in the opening half, Stoch added fourth after the break.
Michal Frydrych and Alexandru Baluta appeared in starting 11 replacing Coufal and Traoré in compare to Thursday’s Zenit line-up, on the other hand, Jan Matoušek remained as lone striker to face his former club 1.FK Příbram.

Slavia started with similar pace as in St. Petersburg and created first big chance just 9 minutes into the game when Baluta headed the ball just centimetres from the left post. Four minutes later the red-whites scored opening goal when Ngadeu returned the ball in front of the net following Hušbauer’s corner and Jan Bořil headed it in. It was Bořil’s third league goal and third goal against Příbram.

But the guests managed to equalize just two minutes later. On 15th minute, Slavia lost the ball on the opponent’s half, Hlúpik latched onto a through pass behind our defence and passed it to Jan Rezek, who scored easily to an open net.

But Slavia did not give up and set the pace of the game. On 32nd minute Hušbauer lobbed the ball behind Příbram defence and Alexandru Baluta passed it along the goalkeeper into the net. Romanian midfielder scored his second for Slavia and second of the night.

Michal Frydrych then made it 3-1 at minute 35 with his well-placed left-foot shot from the brink of the box. Baluta could add his second in the added time, but instead of shooting tried to find Kúdela on his left and the pass was blocked by one of the returning defenders.

The red-whites had plenty of chances in the second half as well, but Matoušek and Baluta were denied by goalkeeper Kočí on 49th minute (53rd respectively). After several other chances, Miroslav Stoch fired the ball from 25 meters and sent it beautifully into the top right top corner to make it 4-1.

Slavia then controlled the game and di not allow Příbram into any dangerous situations. Before the international break, the red-whites thus returned on winning streak and are equal with Viktoria Plzeň on top of the league table, 4 points ahead of Sparta.
