Goals: 69. Schranz
In the 3rd round of the Chance Liga, Slavia defeated Slovácko 1–0 in Uherské Hradiště. The only goal, securing their second consecutive win, came in the 69th minute from Ivan Schranz. The hero of the closing moments was Jindřich Staněk, who saved a penalty from Daníček after Tomáš Chorý had been sent off. The debut of the “eternal” away kit ended in victory.

Jindrich Trpisovsky's team aimed to improve on their previous performance at Miroslav Valenta City Stadium, where they had managed a goalless draw in the opening match of last season.

For the first time this season, Slavia wore their black-and-purple away kit, having played in the traditional red-and-white at Dolicek the previous week.

The biggest chance of the first half came in the 34th minute when Tomas Chory rose to meet a cross, but his header sailed well over the bar.

There were no shots on target in the opening half, and the teams went into the break goalless.

At halftime, the coaching staff sent on David Moses and Ivan Schranz, a move that proved decisive.

Just four minutes after coming on, the Slovak international was denied by a brilliant save from Heca. In the 69th minute, however, he headed home a cross from Vasil Kusej to make it 0-1.

The hosts pushed hard for an equalizer, with Kvasina's header narrowly missing the top left corner. In the final minute of stoppage time, Chory lashed out at Heca who had come up for a last-gasp corner and was shown a red card. The referee awarded a penalty, but Stanek produced a fantastic save to stop Danicek.

Slavia claimed the narrowest of victories in Uherske Hradiste, building on their win over Bohemians a week earlier.
