To Genk in red-white

Slavia left to Genk for 2nd leg of UEFA Europa League Round of 32. With 0-0 from the first game, chances remain equal.
Slavia flew to Maastricht airport with brand new aircraft branded with Slavia colours in cooperation with Czech Airlines (CSA) and flight code name “Slavia 1”. From Maastricht to Genk the players moved with new club bus.

“The whole team flies together including Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui who cannot play after his yellow card from home game. Only Jan Matoušek stays in the Czech Republic as he is moving to Příbram on loan,” assistant manager Zdeněk Houštecký says.

“Michael Ngadeu is stable part of our starting XI, but Simon Deli will replace him fully. He is in great shape and sometimes it was hard for us to decide who will play,” Houštecký continues. And the staff does not exclude other changes in the starting line-up. “In the game with Teplice Alex Král boosted our play well. It is possible that he will be another change in the line-up. Our squad is quite wide and players who haven’t played recently can get their chance,” assistant manager added.

“Genk know, that if we would score, they would need to add two more. I expect them to play their offensive style and that they will try to decide the game as soon as possible. I believe that if we managed to score we could strengthen our defence and wait for counter-attacks. Then we would have bigger chance to succeed,” midfielder Josef Hušbauer added.
