Three hundred competitive matches and one big thank you

Coach Jindřich Trpišovský, alongside his coaching staff, concluded their three hundredth competitive match with Slavia against Sigma on Sunday. Congratulations. The celebration doesn´t end here!

"I´m surprised; just a few weeks ago, we were celebrating two hundred league matches, and now here comes another exceptional milestone. I wonder how we´ve managed to survive it all (laughs). As I´ve mentioned before, I´m starting to pay more attention to these statistics as we slowly approach historic numbers. I sense that a hundred European matches aren´t far off, which would be a fantastic achievement. But the best gift and acknowledgment for our collective work are the last two victories, especially the one against AS Roma, which I immensely value. Three hundred matches on the sidelines for one club, and consecutively, is a huge number that brings us immense joy. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to work for such a great club like Slavia," said Jindřich Trpišovský.

How it all began back in 2017 is a story everyone knows by now. Slavia received a fateful gift just two days before Christmas, setting its course for the years to come. Jindřich Trpišovský and his team initiated an era that, with countless successes, ranks among the finest in Slavia history.

Although the first match under the guidance of the man with the iconic cap didn´t go as planned, what followed after is a story worthy of applause. Three league titles, four victories in the domestic cup, heroic performances in the Champions League, three European quarterfinals, and also a record-breaking streak of 54 league matches undefeated, a feat unparalleled in the history of Czech and Czechoslovakian football.
