The win would be reward for us and for the fans

"It´s our last home game and we have no points here so far. That´s we only want to win," says Slavia manager Jindřich Trpišovský.
“It’s our last home game in the group and we haven’t got any points here so far. That’s why I only want to win, nothing else interests me now. We don’t regard the other game in the group between Barcelona and Dortmund, we only want to win. There will be sold-out stadium and the win would be reward for us and for our fans too,” Slavia manager said.

Slavia are 4th in the Group F but the red and whites can still qualify not only for Europa League, but also for Champions league spring stages. “With all modesty, I’d like to say that regarding the quality of the games we played, we don’t have enough points. Mainly at home we lost games we did not have to lose. And also at Inter we drew because of an equalizer in the very end. It’s a pity we have no win so far. And you must win if you want to qualify from the group where only 2 out of 4 teams do so. If we want to continue in Europe, we need to win on Wednesday and we need to convert our chances,” Trpišovský continued.

Slavia – as well as Inter – must cope with several injuries. The most recent concerns goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář. “He has some minor injury, he did not finish the training session tonight. But whenever he had some health issues, he played a great game. It was the same at Inter, anybody who saw him the day before matchday wouldn’t guess him playing the other day. And he played well. But minor injuries concern more players,” Slavia manager admitted.

Trpišovský will also meet Antonio Conte who – he confessed – made a great impression on him in the past. “He keeps showing what he can bring to Inter, how they can improve. For me he belongs among five best managers in the world. When he was at Chelsea, he inspired me a lot. Regarding Inter games this season, everybody can see the improvement in their play. The play with more pace, they are more compact, they experience great start to the league. We played against them on the very beginning, now they work much harder especially in the defence. They also have a great pressing which they proved during first half in Dortmund,” concluded Jindřich Trpišovský.
