Slavia v Rangers: Moments of the game

Slavia drew 1-1 at home in the opening game of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 against Rangers FC.

Jindřich Trpišovský opted for an identical starting XI as against Leicester City at home: Kolář; Bah, Kúdela, Zima, Bořil; Holeš; Sima, Stanciu, Provod, Olayinka; Kuchta.

7´ | After Olayinka´s pass, Nicolae Stanciu found enough space on the left side of the pitch to curl an effort beyond Allan McGregor and into the back of the net. 1-0.

30´ | Lukáš Provod fired from the set piece, but McGregor blocked his effort on the near post.

34´ | Stanciu again! The Romanian midfielder went past two Rangers players to fire from the exact same position as before the goal, but the ball aimed wide.

36´ | Filip Helander equalised into an open net after Hagi had got the lose ball sooner than Kolář following a set piece by Barišić. 1-1.

65´ | Superb save by Kolář! Ryan Kent scuffed a shot into the ground and almost the top corner but Ondřej Kolář did brilliantly to save it!

71´ | Kúdela headed the ball after Provod´s corner, but Kamara blocked his shot behind McGregor.

89´ | Alexander Bah almost managed to surprise McGregor with his high cross from the right wing, but Gers keeper moved the ball above the crossbar.

90´ | Great chance for the Red-whites! Masopust got a superb connection to a corner to bullet a header low to McGregor’s left, but he kept the score level with an outrageous diving save.
